Pay for fuel using Venmo
QRC payments has a natural product-market fit with the fuel vertical.
As the reopening continues, fuel represents a critical daily spend use case to drive QRC habituation and one step closer towards the super app vision. Gas represents a multi-billion dolar industry in the US and there have been significan partnerships to allow Venmo users to use the app to purchase gas for their vehicles. This feature prevents users from downloading apps for each fuel stations. By using Venmo for their daily expenses, will make their lives a lot easier and a more precise way of managing their finances.
Significant partnerships with fuel stations have enabled Venmo users to conveniently purchase gas.
Through the creation of a secure and user-friendly payment authorization process, I ensured that transactions were both quick and trustworthy. This reduced cognitive load for users and reinforced Venmo’s reputation as a safe, convenient financial tool. The success of this project was deeply rooted in effective collaboration between design, engineering, product, and partner teams. By maintaining open communication and aligning closely with stakeholders, I ensured the designs addressed technical constraints while delivering an outstanding user experience.
