Context
I successfully guided the Eskalera mobile application following Agile/Scrum methodologies from initial concept to full development reducing design iteration cycles by 40%, culminating in its successful launch in the competitive market.
We introduced gamification as well as several learning-industry standards to make the app enjoyable and actionable. I was also responsible for creating and maintaining the design system consistent across all devices.
Design cycles
I suggested a 2 week design cycle to complete the design of the whole app in 4 months. I got together with Head of Product and Project Manager to ideate, design and sync with engineers. Each of the features was planned to be designed and signed-off bi-weekly, ensuring designs were ready 2 sprints ahead of engineering sprints.
