Day to day tasks will no longer take forever
The old licensing portal's experience was very poor - from limited functionality to slow performance. It is having a very negative impact on the overall user experience for Alteryx's customers (specifically IT administrators) to the level that it is failing to attract/retain deals because of it.
The portal attracted 7,000 daily visitors and recorded 1,032 cases raised in 2022 alone, highlighting a significant issue that needed urgent attention. My role was to redesign the licensing portal, ensuring it became a more reliable and user-friendly tool, empowering administrators to efficiently handle their daily tasks with ease.
A 97.5% increase of efficiency in daily tasks.
The redesign I led was instrumental in transforming the licensing portal into a highly efficient tool for IT administrators. By streamlining critical workflows—such as assigning seats, revoking access, and managing accounts—we achieved an impressive 97.5% improvement in task efficiency.
Following the rollout, the user satisfaction survey revealed a remarkable 4.5 out of 5 score, exceeding expectations and underscoring the significant impact of the new design.
